This bold lamp is a study in opposites: a geometric cone base is paired with a flowing and dynamic fabric shade. The ceramic base features a layered glaze of Soapstone over Patina. The shade is made from a calendered, indigo-dyed fabric sourced from the Miao people of southern China. The calendering process gives the fabric supple stiffness and a delicate sheen.
